A Licence granted to a qualified individual to own and operate a firearm for hunting and/or protection life and property. Who pays Firearm Licence? The receipt is then taken to the Superintendent in charge of the Police Station for his residence or place of business. He/she is then interviewed for the licence. Where a licence is refused, the full fees refunded on documentary evidence from the police. Due Date(s) Firearm licence is due the 1st April of each year.
